Painting a lot means learning a lot. Today's painting is on 6 3/4 x 10 1/2 UArt 800 with a light pink dry wash put down first. I do like UArt paper because it behaves like Wallis. I do NOT like the finer grit, I have discovered. The color moves around too much for the way I work and it makes me struggle to create what seems to be to be a complete image. Or, am I getting tired of the actual image.
Getting to know a subject requires many hours of observation and interpretation but there are times when I have to hunt for inspiration with the same image.
